    How about iPhoto?

The new iPad has just been put on sale from last week. It has caused worldwide concern. As well as the iPhoto application, it is very impressive.

For years, Apple’s iPhoto has been the go-to software for Mac owners looking to catalog photos and make simple edits to pictures. Now iPhoto has come to Apple mobile devices, specifically the new iPad and iPad 2 and iPhone and iPod Touch models with a camera. The app is $4.99, and it joins a host of photo apps for the iPhone and iPad, a category that is quite competitive and rich. it’s a better buy than any morning cup of coffee, and will last you for years.

Apple’s approach is both innovative and iterative. I think that’s great news for hobbyist photographers, but it is awkward for Adobe and its Photoshop fiefdom. Omg

The app is broken out into four sections: Albums, Photos, Events and Journals. Scanning and viewing your photos is easy through the two-column icon grid at the left, with a large area to the right reserved for viewing an active photo. When you tap on Photos, you’ll get a grid screen of all your photos on a nice gray background with subtle shades and framing. Getting to this screen also includes some nice motion in the icons of your photos as they slide into place. Tap a photo, and you’ll launch into a larger view, which you can then zoom into or edit. As you would expect, you can do a lot of dragging and pinching to edit a photo. A pallet of brushes, for example, lets you saturate, desaturate, lighten or darken an area of a photo simply by tapping on the brush and then using your finger to brush on the effect on the area of the photo that you want to saturate. Let me tell you how to transfer photos from ipad to computer, and you can preserve your masterpiece. I can imagine the beautiful and funny photo.

The edits are fun, but the organization tools are an essential addition for any iPad owner. Before, all your photos and videos on the iPad ended up in the ”Camera Roll” section. You couldn’t organize them, or even delete batches at a time. With the app, now you can hit the flag key to save your favorites, and then use the ”Journal” tab to put together a new category. In the edit tab, you create a new Journal and name it.

And it’s packed with some very powerful features, and its connection with iCloud means you can easily sync photos across all your devices. Or, you just wanna sync files from ipad to pc, here is another method for you. Anyways, it’s great. The new app requires updating your software to iOS 5.1. It’s an easy addition that can be had by going to the General section of your mobile device and clicking on software update. Well, iPhoto is awesomely powerful, but it’s also a little complex. It might take a while to understand and appreciate it. But I do believe it’s definitely worth my investment of time to give it a real chance.

The New iPad is on its way

At last Wednesday in San Francisco, Apple unveiled the third iteration of the device, just called ”the new iPad”. There’s no iPad 3, or iPad HD. And today – March 16, it is available starting in the U.S. and 10 other countries.

Though heavier and thicker than iPad 2, the new iPad looks and feels much like the current iPad 2. It also has the same starting prices: $499 for the Wi-Fi only models, or $629 for those that also have cellular connectivity. By the way, Apple is dropping the price of the iPad 2 to a starting price of $399. If you decide to change your ipad 2 to the new ipad, you also need to transfer music from ipad to ipad. I know how to do it easily.

The new iPad’s key features include an unusually high-resolution screen, support for the 4G technology known as LTE and a microprocessor chip with more powerful graphics circuitry that helps render realistic-looking videogames.

The new iPad has a new camera with face detection and an HD retina display, too. Apple says that the iPad screen has more pixels than an HDTV.

To most men, do not forget to update your iPad. With an upgraded version of iMovie and a new iPhoto app, it’s much easier to do some quick work. Although the apps won’t be able to handle really complex editing, these are better. The software tools can help you a lot, for more ipad converter review, you can find it here.

Another point deserves mentioning. This time, Apple also said that a new version of its $99 Apple TV device that supports higher-resolution video would also go on sale today. The box, which provides a way to get Internet video on traditional televisions, also has a new interface and the ability to sync some movies purchased on iTunes across Apple devices. That’s funny and surprisingly handy.

There is so much more in Apple, but I wait for more.

Many people like to watch video on iPad because of the great widescreen of iPad. And its touchscreen display is a 9.7 in liquid crystal display with fingerprint-resistant and scratch-resistant glass. But you can’t play all the video movies on iPad directly. The video format must be iPad video format because iPad just supports limited video formats like HD video(.mp4), H.264(.mp4), MPEG4(.mp4) etc. You have to convert video to iPad friendly formats with Video to iPad Converter. Cook Your Delicious with iPad/iPhone

Do you have an affinity for fine food?
And do you like to cook meals for yourself?
If the answers both are yes, you’ll like these ones. Yes, the iPad/iPhone can help you cook easily and funny. Because there are many apps to help you be at your best in the kitchen, a ton of good options.
Well, the great recipe apps have a few things in common: a sleek interface that is easy to browse, gorgeous food photography, and a good selection of recipes. I also looked for extra features like intuitive shopping lists, helpful cooking videos, and nutrition facts. Something that is good, you may need a mac ipad transfer for backup. Now, read on to learn about some of my favorites.

    The Photo Cookbook
Whenever I am cooking, I always stare at what’s in my bowl or pot and wonder, ”Is this what it is supposed to look like?” The Photo Cookbook app answers that question — it has 80 recipes, and for each one, it has a photo with what you should see in front of you. Not just a pic of the finished dish, but one for each step of the way. The other nice thing: each recipe only takes 30 minutes max. Nice for time-crunched moms, not just the cooking newbies. It’s $4.99.

    How to Cook Everything
At first glance, the How to Cook Everything app ($4.99) may seem a bit pricey. Take a closer look, however, and you realize that you get all 2,000 recipes from Mark Bittman’s book of the same name — and the book costs at least US$20. The app’s interface is pretty sleek, although there are no pictures to accompany the recipes. Even so, the app does include an integrated cooking timer and shopping list. How to Cook Everything also has more cooking instruction than nearly any other recipe app, with videos on everything from how to sharpen knives to how to roast a chicken. It’s a comprehensive resource that will have you cooking in no time.

    Jamie Oliver’s 20 Minute Meals
Not only is Jamie Oliver’s 20 Minute Meals ($7.99) the best recipe app, but his no-frills approach to yummy food. This app gives you 60 of his recipes with super-easy, step-by-step instructions, but his no-frills approach to yummy food. The recipes are easy to follow and there’s a tab at the top that switches the ingredient amounts from two to four people.

    Simply Organic Recipes
Simply Organic (iPhone) is a simple recipe app that makes it easy to serve healthy and wholesome meals. Like the AllRecipes.com app, Simply Organic includes a random recipe generator if you just need a quick dinner idea. For browsing, there are a ton of categories to choose from, including vegetarian entrees and healthy recipes for kids. One of the best parts of the Simply Organic app is that you can sort your results by a variety of criteria, including rating. That makes it easy to find the most popular recipes. Nutrition facts are included for each recipe as well. Unfortunately, Simply Organic doesn’t include pictures.

Real Simple’s No Time to Cook?
I love Real Simple magazine and this app doesn’t disappoint. With 850 recipes that are, as you might guess, real simple, it also offers how-to videos. All of the recipes are made in 40 minutes or less, and you can search by how long you have to cook, by ingredient, or by preparation. They even have a ”no-cook” meals option — sounds right up this non-cook’s alley. It’s also $4.99.

    AllRecipes.com Dinner Spinner
This app has what seems like a gazillion recipes, all from its website. The nice thing about this one is it takes the guesswork (and second-guessing) out of your meal planning, something that gets me every time I even think about what to try to cook for dinner. You key in the main ingredient and how long you want to spend cooking it and — voila! — some great recipe choices to select from. Only $2.99 from the Apple store.

    SparkRecipes
The SparkRecipes app (iPhone) is a good choice for dieters, since it includes nutritional information for all 200,000 user-submitted recipes. The app has a ton of search options, which makes it easy to wade through the recipes efficiently. You can even limit recipes based on their calorie count. The instructional videos are helpful and load quickly over a WiFi connection. Unfortunately, the recipes aren’t as easy to follow since the ingredients and instructions are listed on separate pages. Browsing by category can also be overwhelming given the numerous recipes.

    Fooducate
Okay, sometimes you’re going to feel like making something from scratch and you find yourself in the grocery store. How to pick something that is good for your family? With the Fooducate app, you scan the bar code of the product, and how it ranks in terms of nutrition and all of that other stuff pops up. If it really isn’t so great health-wise, it will give you options as to what would be a better choice.

    Weber’s On the Grill
Weber’s On the Grill app ($4.99) is a great choice for those who are serious about their meat. It includes more than 250 illustrated recipes, and the pictures will definitely make you want to fire up the grill. You also can get pictures from ipad to computer if you like it a lot. It includes a shopping list and a favorites section. It also has lots of how-to articles if you’re not yet comfortable around a grill. The integrated grill timer is a nice touch, as is the ’doneness calculator,’ which tells you how long to cook different types of meat and at what temperature. The app does seem a little expensive, but it is packed with features.

In fact, I don’t know how to cook. But now, I don’t worry about it. I think there’s bound to be an app to teach me how to be a better cook. LOL
Ok, what would you have for dinner?

DVD List for Valentine’s Day in Recent Years

    Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
Shawnee-born Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have smokin’ chemistry as assassins on opposite sides.

    Becoming Jane (2007)
Jane Austen (Anne Hathaway) falls in love with roguish Irishman Tom Lefroy (James McAvoy) in this speculative romance. Austen never married, so that’s a hint that all will not go well.

    WALL-E (2008)
A lonely trash-compacting robot finds a hand to hold with a sleek probe droid in another of Pixar’s winners for best animated film. This is one of my favorite cartoons, and I put it to my ipod with the ipod touch converter. Not less than 100 days, I think.

    (500) Days of Summer (2009)
In his feature film debut, Marc Webb, director of the upcoming reboot “The Amazing Super-Man,” cast off the wretched conventions of modern- day romantic comedies, telling an emotionally resonant love story with a nonlinear plot line, amazing soundtrack and strong performances from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.

    Up (2009)
The Oscar-winning computer-animated tale by the Pixar geniuses has zany talking dogs, a crazy colorful flightless bird and the vivid spectacle of a house sent aloft by millions of balloons. But the heart of the poignant story is a grieving widower (voice of Ed Asner) making the trip he and his late wife planned but never got around to taking. And it’s a more stalwart soul than I who can make it through the montage of Carl and Ellie’s life without crying.

    Valentine’s Day (2010)
Gary Marshall’s ensemble romantic comedy VALENTINE’S DAY follows nearly two dozen people as they find and lose love in all its many forms over the course of the title holiday. The numerous characters include a very busy florist (Ashton Kutcher) and his schoolteacher best friend (Jennifer Garner). She’s having an affair with a married doctor (Patrick Dempsey). Meanwhile, a businessman (Bradley Cooper) and a military captain (Julia Roberts) on leave share a long conversation during an international flight. There’s also an elderly couple (Hector Elizondo and Shirley MacLaine) who are caring for their elementary school-age grandson, who is pining for a classmate and missing his mother. The huge cast also includes Jamie Foxx as a local TV personality, Topher Grace, Queen Latifah, and Anne Hathaway. It had an all- star. It is worthwhile seeing the film. I decide to copy it from itunes to dvd collection.

    Letters to Juliet (2010)
An American girl (Amanda Seyfried) vacationing in Italy finds and answers a 50-year-old letter to Juliet. In the process of helping the writer (Vanessa Redgrave) find her long-lost true love, the young American gets her own chance at real romance.

    Drive (2011)
Director Nicolas Winding Refn’s sun- and blood-soaked slice of Los Angeles neo-noir isn’t for the faint of heart. But if you can handle some Tarantino-level outbursts of violence, you can marvel at the crackling chemistry between Ryan Gosling as the enigmatic Hollywood stunt driver/getaway wheelman and Carey Mulligan as the lovely, vulnerable, single-mom neighbor who opens his heart and changes his life without even trying.

    Gnomeo & Juliet (2011)
I’m not one to classify movies as guilty pleasures; I firmly believe different films have different purposes and there’s no point in feeling guilty if a stupid comedy makes you chuckle or a big-budget actioner gets your pulse pounding. But I feel a bit sheepish in admitting that I was utterly charmed by Disney’s transformation of The Bard’s greatest tragedy into a zanily animated, happily-ever-after comedy about a pair of garden gnomes (voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt) who fall in love despite the feud between their respective color-coded families of backyard knick-knacks. Watch it with your kids and be prepared to giggle a lot and have Elton John songs stuck in your head for days.

About Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011)

A score of imdb is 7.7, I think that’s the best movie in the series. It seems to me that no one should miss, you can enjoy this movie on your ipad with the ipad movie transfer.

The brand new team is assembled by Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), who enlists the help of new recruits (including Simon Pegg) to clear the IMF’s name after it is blamed for a global bombing plot. As the organisation goes into shutdown, they’re forced undercover with no help, no contact and no limits in their toughest assignment ever.

This film grabs a hold of the viewer’s attention from the opening scene and doesn’t let go until the closing credits. The action is stylish and visually stunning. The acting was great, and it didn’t take itself to seriously, I laughed quite a bit in the theater. Through a combination of impressive stunt work, editorial precision and directorial invention (plus a funny script and funnier performances), this is top fun from start to finish. Ghost Protocol was extremely well done. If you still have ant problem on how to transfer movies to ipad, this step by step guide can help you to solve the problem.

How to convert wmv, avi to ipad quickly

It’s a quite good feeling to watch all kinds of film on iPad, no matter HD films or MVs. But not all videos are in the friendly format of iPad. That’s means if you want to watch different videos on iPad, you have to convert the video to the compatible format of iPad. Here I’ll tell you how to convert wmv to ipad quickly.
Here I introduce you a capable assistant – iPad Video Converter, which can help you a lot. Following step is the guide on how to do it quickly.

Step 1. Download the latest version of iPad Video Converter, then install and run it. Open the iPad Video Converter by pressing the ”Video” icon.
Step 2. Through the ”Open file” tab, you can add the WMV files, or you can also directly drag the WMV files to the interface of the program. Preset the output quality by clicking ”Profile” and hit the ”Output” icon to specify the destination for the output files.
Step 3: If you get all things done, click ”Convert” to start the project and wait for the conversion to take place.

After a relax, the whole procedure will be completed. Also, AVI videos are not on iPad’s support list of videos, so, you need a third-part software to help you to convert avi to ipad. You can use the same method with this software tool. You can download it for free and have a try.

    Great iPhone Apps for Children

With a large number of applications available, the iPhone can keep kids entertained for hours on end. Some of the best children applications have an academic element that can help them understand the abc or rely to 10, so they’ll get something out of it as well. These applications are developed for kids in toddler or school, and most are perfect for entertaining bored children in a waiting room or airport. Before children get your ipad, I think you need to sync ipad with new computer with your pictures, music, and other files, just in case.

    Jacob’s Shapes
Jacob’s Shapes (US$1.99) is a cute kids app that helps children learn shapes and objects. The well-designed interface is easy to use, even for young kids, and there is plenty of variety in the 20+ puzzles. Kids are prompted to slide each item into the appropriate cut-out shape on the puzzle; once correctly placed, the app speaks the shape’s name.

    Mixamajig
Mixamajig ($0.99) doesn’t have an educational component, but it is an excellent app for entertaining kids — not to mention adults — while in the car or doctor’s waiting room. The goal of the app is to create characters, named Kooks, using over 200 different body parts. The app includes everything from aliens, robots, cowboys, and more. Kids will also get a kick out of uploading their own picture and creating a Kook with their face. We evaluate Mixamajig in more depth in our full app review.

    Wheels on the Bus
Wheels on the Bus ($0.99) is one of the most popular iPhone apps for kids. Designed for younger children in preschool or kindergarten, Wheels on the Bus is an interactive book set to the classic children’s song. Children can read along with the lyrics or listen to the song in several different languages, including German, French, or Spanish. To keep things entertaining, kids can tap the screen to open the doors, make the wheels move, or even record their own singing. Maybe you can take the songs and videos out of your iPad and backup them on your Mac or iTunes library with the help of mac ipad transfer. After many years, this will be the special memories in your hearts.

    Cookie Doodle
There’s no real educational component to the Cookie Doodle app ($0.99), but it will keep your young kids entertained for hours. The aim of the app is just like it sounds — to create your own cookies. Choose from 21 different types of dough (including gingerbread, oatmeal, or red velvet) and then have fun rolling out your dough and cutting it into one of 137 designs. There’s also 25 frostings to choose from, as well as other fun stuff like sprinkles, candy hearts, and jelly beans. With so many combinations, the Cookie Doodle app provides hours of enjoyment for young kids (it’s also kind of addicting for adults too).

    Peekaboo Barn
There’s no better kids’ app for learning the names of animals or the sounds they make than Peekaboo Barn ($1.99). The graphics are super cute, and the app includes written and verbal cues in both English and Spanish. Kids can tap on the screen to view a new animal, or guess the name of the animal just by hearing the sound it makes. New animals are added occasionally, and the latest update includes a mouse, chicken, and rabbit.

    Park Math
Park Math ($1.99) is a new kids app from the developers of Wheels on the Bus, reviewed above. It introduces preschool math concepts, including basic addition and subtraction, for kids ages 1 through 6. Kids can also learn how to count to 20 (or up to 50 in level 2). The graphics and music are great — the Park Math app includes popular nursery rhymes like ”This Old Man” and ”Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush.”

    Kids Song Machine
Kids Song Machine ($1.99) is a good iPhone app for entertaining your preschool-aged kids in waiting rooms or airports. Like many kids apps, Song Machine includes a number of nursery rhymes such as ”Old McDonald”, ”I’m a Little Tea Pot”, and ”Row Your Boat”. As the songs play, kids can follow along by tapping the screen to unveil the interactive animations displayed as submarines or hot air balloons. The animations don’t really correspond to the lyrics of the nursery rhymes, but I doubt your kids will mind.

    Preschool Adventure
Although it’s best for young kids, Preschool Adventure ($0.99) has a number of basic interactive and educational games. Kids can learn to match colors, count to 10, or learn basic shapes. There’s also matching games and a game to learn about animal sounds and noises. Like most kids apps, Preschool Adventure nails it on the cuteness factor, with lots of bright, cleverly drawn characters.

    Redfish 4 Kids
Redfish 4 Kids ($9.99) is another great app for kids that features an educational component. It’s pricey, however, and only available for the iPad, but the Redfish app includes more than 50 exercises that cover everything from basic counting to colors and shapes. Jigsaw puzzles are also included, in addition to an on-screen piano and other fun games. The app is designed for kids ages 2 to 7 (iPad only).

    Letter Writer Oceans
There are few ways to learn the ABCs that are as cute as Letter Writer Oceans ($0.99). This aquatic-themed app includes exercises and matching words for all letters of the alphabet. Kids can follow along with a guided animation, which they can trace to learn how to draw each letter. They can even earn rewards when they complete each letter, which helps them unlock poems and stories.

Come along now, someone must like at least one of these apps. LOL
